Delaware law firm Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell began in 1930 as a small practice for a former U.S. District Judge, with first clients including E.I. du Pont de Nemours and the Coca-Cola Co. From such impressive beginnings, the firm has developed as an M&A specialist that other firms can call on for help. Partner Jeff Wolters says the firm will “jump in on a particularly tricky” issue, and after dealing with it, “we are out and we move on.” The 83-member firm helped on two of the biggest deals last year.
