Negotiations between Delphi Corp. and its employee unions intensified amid the postponement of a bankruptcy hearing set for Monday. Judge Robert Drain agreed to postpone the hearing on whether the auto parts maker can void its labor contracts until Friday, following a request from Delphi’s attorneys. United Auto Workers members have overwhelmingly authorized their leaders to call a strike if Delphi wins such a right.
