Mesothelioma is the rarest cancer type which develops because of exposure to asbestos. Inhaling the asbestos materials is a major cause of mesothelioma. The person who has been diagnosed with mesothelioma has a survival rate ranging from 6 to 8 months, but sometimes the symptoms take years to appear. Every year there is an increased rate of mesothelioma occurrences.
