The Steak n Shake Co. has agreed to pay $180,000 to settle a sexual harassment suit that alleged a then-17-year-old employee was groped by an older co-worker, endured explicit comments and was threatened with sexual assault, and that a restaurant manager and assistant manager refused to help her. In addition to agreeing to pay damages and back wages, the chain agreed to conduct sexual harassment training for management personnel.
