A Denny’s manager who had a leg amputated was told she couldn’t return to work because she posed a safety risk and was fired after she used up her medical leave, according to a lawsuit filed in federal court Thursday. The class action lawsuit, filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, accuses Denny’s of violating the Americans with Disabilities Act by discriminating against Paula Hart and numerous other unnamed Denny’s employees.
