Days after the midterm elections, one of Washington’s most influential business lobbies is facing dramatic changes in its upper management. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is losing its longtime senior VP and general counsel, Stephen Bokat, who grew the litigation center’s caseload and pumped up the Chamber’s business and legal status. Chief Operating Officer Suzanne Clark is also leaving. This comes just as the right-leaning lobby took a blow with Democrats taking control of both the House and the Senate.
